This wonderful, small, silver, Georgian vinaigrette is in amazing condition with nice clear hallmarks and still retains its lovely, gilded interior and original small piece of sponge. It’s rectangular in shape with rounded corners and is engraved on the lid with flowers down the middle with a checkerboard pattern on either side. This pretty vinaigrette was made in Birmingham, England in 1787 by silversmiths ‘Cooks & Bettridge’ (C&B) and measures 22mm x 17mm x 7mm.
