Silver Rhodesian Independence Bell
This sterling silver bell, which hangs from a Rhodesian Mukwa wooden frame, was made to commemorate the 10th Anniversary of Rhodesian Independence, which was declared on the 11th November 1965. It bears the signature of Ian Douglas Smith and is inscribed with the words ‘We have struck a blow for the preservation of justice’. The bell is stamped with Rhodesian silver hallmarks and were made in a limited edition of 1000, this is number 139. It is in excellent condition.
