Silver Rhodesian Independence Bell

This sterling silver bell, which hangs from a Rhodesian Mukwa wooden frame, was made to commemorate the 10^th Anniversary of Rhodesian Independence, which was declared on the 11^th November 1965. It bears the signature of Ian Douglas Smith and is inscribed with the words ‘We have struck a blow for the preservation of justice’. The bell is stamped with Rhodesian silver hallmarks and were made in a limited edition of 1000, this is number 139. It is in excellent condition.
