Small Royal Doulton ‘Old Charley’ Character Jug

This early, small, Royal Doulton character jug ‘Old Charley’ was produced between 1934 and 1983 and designed by ‘Charles Noke’. ‘Old Charley’ was a character who represented the early ‘English night watchmen’ from the 1700’s, who were replaced by modern day policeman in the 1900’s. This lovely hand painted jug is in excellent condition and measures 10,5cm x 7,3cm with a height of 8,5cm.
