Solid Silver & Enamel ‘R.A.O.B.’ Medal (Bro. J.T. DU TOIT)

This lovely quality, sterling silver ‘Royal Antediluvian Order of Buffalos’ (R.A.O.B) ‘PAST PRIMO’ medal or jewel for the ‘EARL of ATHLONE LODGE No.6639’ is beautifully made and enamelled in relief with decorative engraving and cut-out detail. It was presented and engraved on the back to ‘Bro. J.T. DU TOIT. C.P’ ‘For Outstanding Leadership Integrity and Ability’ ‘Worthy Primo’ on the ’27-7-60’. The medal has a good weight and was made in 1955 by silversmiths ‘Louis Simpson Ltd’ in London, England. It is in excellent condition, complete with original ribbon and measures 14,5cm x 4cm and weighs 45,2g.
