Superb Hand Painted Antique ‘Ridgway’ Porcelain Plate (C1820/30’s)

This very attractive ‘Ridgway’ porcelain plate was probably manufactured around the 1820/30’s. It has a scalloped edge with four raised/moulded grape and leaf details around the rim - both grapes and rim have been nicely gilded. There is a large, beautifully hand painted, colourful bouquet of flowers, along with five small sprigs, dotted around the plate. There are no factory marks on the back other than the red handwritten pattern number ‘518’. It is in excellent condition, with no wear to the flowers and has a diameter of 20.4cm.
