Unusual Solid Silver ‘Wishbone’ Sugar Tongs

This wonderful pair of early, unusual, sterling silver novelty sugar tongs with a sprung hinge are in the form of a lucky wishbone. They were made in 1936 in Birmingham, England by silversmiths ‘James Swan & Son’ (J.S&S). These lovely tongs are in excellent condition and function well. They measure 7,8cm in length and weigh 8,5g.
