Unusual Victorian (1857) Sterling Silver Gilt Vinaigrette

This lovely Victorian silver gilt vinaigrette, with its original gilding, is in good condition with no damage or repairs. It is hallmarked for London 1857 with makers mark ‘T.J.’ for Thomas Johnson. This vinaigrette is very unusual, compared to all the others I’ve seen, as the entire item is gilded and not just the inside. It measures 4cm in length, 2.8cm in width and 0.8cm in depth. And weighs 25g.
