Very Rare Georg Jensen Enamel Pendant by Astrid Fog

This very rare, modernist, sterling silver and turquoise enamel pendant was designed by Astrid Fog (1911 – 1993) for Georg Jensen. Her jewellery is noted for its modernist designs of simple, large, bold, geometric shapes. This fabulous, eye catching piece was made in Denmark in the 1970’s and is marked with the post 1945 ‘GEORG JENSEN’ mark and ‘925s’ ‘DENMARK’ plus the design number ‘238’. The pendant measures 4.5cm x 4cm (7cm with the hanger) and is in excellent condition.
