Very Rare Royal Doulton ‘The Moghul’ (HN5208) Figurine (Ltd. 9/150 – Signed By Michael Doulton)

This fabulous, very rare, tall, hand painted figurine titled ‘The Moghul’ (HN5203), is one of Royal Doulton’s limited edition figures from their Prestige Collection and is one of only 150 ever made, as well as personally being signed by ‘Michael Doulton’ (Sixth Generation), on the base. It depicts a proud Moghul emperor in traditional dress, taking part in falconry, an esteemed tradition symbolising power and prestige, and is beautifully hand painted in vibrant colours with amazing detail. It was modelled and designed by ‘Robert Tabbenor & David Capewell’ in 2008, as part of a limited edition of only 150 figurines worldwide, this one being number ‘9’, marked on the base along with a detailed backstamp. This special figurine is in amazing condition and stands 45cm high, with a weight of 1,8kg.
