Victorian 9ct Gold ‘Angel Skin’ Coral Cameo Brooch

This lovely, large, Victorian rose-gold brooch features a beautifully hand-carved, pink ‘angel skin’ coral cameo, depicting a right facing portrait of a Victorian lady. The cameo is set in a pretty, solid 9ct rose-gold frame with a secure pin along with a small gold ring at the top for a safety chain if needed. The brooch is in great condition with a ‘9CT’ stamp on the back and measures 5,2cm x 4,2cm with a weight of 19,1g.

Note: ‘Angel Skin’ pink coral is one of the rarest types of coral which grows incredibly slowly and in very deep, cold waters, hundreds of feet below the surface. For this reason, it is one of the most expensive and sort after varieties of coral.
