Victorian Mini Leather-Cased Compass
This Victorian open-faced compass dates to around the 1880’s. The case of the compass, is made of a gilt metal and is in excellent condition without dings or dents. It is covered with a bevelled glass front, which has 2 minor chips (as per photos). The compass is in good working order and finds north easily. There is a push/pull button that will lock/release the needle. It still has its original leather case, which opens and closes securely. The case has lost some of the leather skin but the wood is still intact.
