This wonderful pair of round, Victorian, Irish sterling silver salt cellars are in great condition with nice clear hallmarks to the base. They are a super quality, heavy pair, beautifully decorated and chased with floral detail and topped with gadrooned rims, and each stand on three scrolled ‘ball and claw’ feet. The pair were made in Dublin in 1846 by silversmiths ‘Christopher Cummins (Junior)’ (C.C). Each cellar stands 5cm high, with a diameter of 7,5cm and together weigh 206g.
