Victorian Silver ‘BABY’ Brooch (1899)

This cute, Victorian sterling silver christening brooch has an unusual oval shape with ‘BABY’ in raised letters in the middle, and pretty engraving in between the letters and around the edge. It is English hallmarked on the back, informing us that it was made in Birmingham in 1899, and stamped ‘TJS’ for the makers ‘Thomas James Skelton’. This cute brooch is in excellent condition and measures 50mm x 14mm.
