Vintage German ‘Milk Lactometer & Gravity Hydrometer’ (Cased)

This very early pair of German glass instruments and a glass pouring test-tube are in excellent condition and come in their original protective cardboard tube containers. The large one is a ‘Specific Gravity Hydrometer’ (for measuring the relative density of liquids) and the other is a ‘Lactometer’ (used to check the purity/dilution of cow’s milk). One measures 23,5cm in length and the other 15cm and both are marked ‘Made in Germany’.
