Vintage ‘Waterford’ Crystal Ships Decanter (‘Alana’ Pattern)

This lovely, fine quality, vintage crystal ships decanter was made by the well-known ‘Waterford’ crystal factory in Ireland. It is beautifully hand-cut in the popular ‘Alana’ pattern that was produced between 1952 and 2018. (‘Alana’ is Gaelic for ‘darling’). The decanter features multiple diamond cuts around the body with a multi-faceted long neck, a round multi-faceted stopper and sits on a large star-cut base. Other than a pale milkiness to a small section of the base (that is not very noticeable), it’s in excellent condition and has the frosted ‘Waterford’ mark on the base edge. The decanter stands 24cm high, with a base diameter of 18,5cm and weighs 1560g.
