Vintage Wooden Folding Cigarette Box

This early, very well-made travelling cigarette box from the 1940/50’s, is made up of four hinged parts which fold together and close tightly with the help of a ‘tongue-in-groove’ type catch, making the box compact and airtight. It’s made from a solid dark wood with a lovely grain and colour and measures, when closed 12,2cm x 6cm, stands 8,5cm high and weighs 338g. This wonderful box is in great condition, holds up to forty-eight cigarettes and functions well.
