Wonderful Victorian Sterling Silver Bangle (1886)

This wonderful, late Victorian, English hallmarked, wide, solid silver, hinged bangle features a beautiful hand engraved flower and leaf design along the front with a raised decorative border. It was made in Birmingham in 1886 by the ‘Jackson Brothers’ (J.B.s), who were manufacturing jewellers in Great Hampton Street, Birmingham in the late 1800’s. It’s a lovely quality piece with a strong hinge and a secure, push in clasp that clips shut and other than a few tiny dents on the back, it’s in excellent condition. The bangle is oval and measures 6,2cm x 5,5cm, with a width of 2,5cm and weighs 31,6g.
