WW1/2 – S.A. Pair to ‘PTE. J.S. Johns’ (1ST S.A. I. BDE.)

This original pair of full-size silver medals consisting of the ‘1914-1918 British War Medal’ and the ‘Africa Service Medal’ were issued to ‘Private J.S. Johns’ who served with the ‘1^ST South African Infantry Brigade’ in WW1 and with the ‘Active Citizen Force’ (A.C.F.) in WW2. Both medals are in great condition, nicely tarnished with their original ribbons, are un-researched and the rims read ‘22410, PTE J.S. JOHNS – 1^ST S.A. I BDE.’ and ‘ACF 146414, J.S. JOHNS’.
