WW1 British Officers Leather Sam Browne Belt, Cross-Strap & Whistle
This super quality, original, leather, WW1 army officers Sam Brown belt and cross-strap, with original whistle, on attached leather lanyard, belonged to a ‘Capt. R.J. Truter’ who served in the ‘Army Service Corps’ during the Boer War and the ‘Kings Royal Rifles’ in WW1. The set is in wonderful condition for its age, the leather has been looked after with a lovely reddish-brown colour and the brass fittings & buckles are nicely polished with an aged patina. The belt measures 115cm in length and the cross-strap measures 90cm.
