WW1 – ‘K.I.A.’ Pair of Medals to ‘PTE. C. FOSTER’ ‘North. D. Fus.’ (Cambrai)
This original, Great War causality pair of full-size medals were awarded to ‘41867 PTE. C. FOSTER’ (Claud), who was killed in action at the ‘Battle of Cambrai’ in France on the 9th of October 1918, whilst serving with the Northumberland Fusiliers, impressed ‘NORTH D FUS’. He is buried at the ‘Naves Communal Cemetery’ in the North of France, and I’ve attached copies of details found, medal card etc. below. These medals are in great condition, nicely tarnished with their original ribbons and could do with further research.
