WW2 – Aluminium ‘Trench Art/POW’ Cigarette Case

This early, WW2 ‘Prisoner of War’ or ‘Trench Art’ cigarette case, is manufactured from aluminium and is beautifully hand decorated and engraved with various patterns on the front and back, with flowers and a red setter dog on the inside. There’s an engraved shield cartouche on the front with the letters, possibly ‘CMR’ and other than age related wear, it’s in great condition with a button release lid that snaps shut. It measures 14,5cm x 9,5cm and weighs 127g.
