WW2 Silver & Enamel SA Army ‘Union is Strength’ Sweetheart Brooch

This lovely, solid silver and blue enamel WW2 South African Army ‘Unity is Strength – Eendrag maak Mag’ sweetheart brooch is one I haven’t seen before. It’s a good quality silver piece with a nice weight, featuring an oval light blue enamel border with the cut-out springbok in the centre surrounded by a circle of dark blue enamel. The brooch is in excellent condition and stamped ‘SILVER’ on the back. It measures 30mm x 24mm and weighs 6,6g.
